About Our PROGRAM
The mission of Crecer Services is to support, help, grow & heal individuals and families in their recovery journey.
Crecer Services LLC., provides co-occurring Substance Use counseling, prevention, and treatment services in an outpatient setting to males and females, age 18 and older, who are experiencing problems with substance use and/or mental health concerns. Individual treatment is designed to deliver specific services to those affected by trauma as well as those with co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Services are available in English or Spanish with licensed bilingual/bicultural professionals.
OUR CAREGIVERS
Elizabeth Burgos, MSW, LICSW
Elizabeth Burgos, MSW, LICSW was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to Jersey City, New Jersey at the age of 3. She is bilingual (Spanish and English) and bicultural. She graduated in 1997 with Bachelors's in Social Work (BSW) from Kean University of New Jersey. Elizabeth worked as an alcohol and drug counselor certified in New York State from 1997-2001. In 2010, she received her Masters of Clinical Social Work (MSW) from the University of Thomas and St. Catherine University. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor. She has experience working with the Latino/a community and diverse populations including individuals with dual-diagnosis in outpatient and residential settings since 2007. Elizabeth has a passion for education and teaching. She has worked as a community faculty/Professor at Metro-State University since 2015. Her treatment areas of expertise are: Addiction & Recovery, Anxiety, Depression, Abuse/ Assault/ Trauma, Grief/Loss/Bereavement, LGBTQIA+ issues, Relationship issues, Stress Management, Coping Skills, & Codependency. She works with adults and youth ages 9 and up.
Neri Diaz, ADC-T, MSW, LICSW
Neri R. Diaz, ADC-T MSW, LICSW, received his BS in community psychology from St. Cloud State University in 2002 and received his Master Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University in 2010. Neri completed the Alcohol and Drug Counseling program at the Metropolitan State University in August of 2018. Neri was born in Honduras, Central America, and moved to the USA when he was 18 years old. He is bilingual and bicultural and has worked with the Latino/a community and underserved population for almost 21 years. Additionally, Neri has been an activist since he arrived in this country, bringing awareness about his culture, his people's struggle, and most recently he has been using the power of la palabra, (word) through poetry. His treatment areas of expertise are Addiction & Recovery, Anxiety, Depression, Abuse/ Assault/ Trauma, Grief/Loss/Bereavement, Sexual Dysfunction Issues, Anger Management, Couple Therapy, Relationship Issues, Stress Management, Coping Skills, & Codependency. He works with adults and youth ages 9 and up.
